Who picks up the trash?

Here in the United States, it is election time for the highest office in the country. President in the United States. I turn on tv and I am hit with a barrage of sycophants spewing hyperbole at me proclaiming their parties greatness, compassion and begging for the vote. I shake my head and ask who takes out the trash? Who cleans the cities streets, who gets up and works often far more than the 40 hour work week and I realize not one single politician does this without a camera near by.

I try not to be political I feel the right party is of course, the right one for you, however when I hear and see so much it becomes nearly impossible to weigh in on this subject. when it comes to current politics I think it can be best summed up with two quotes.

“We would all like to vote for the best man, but he is never a candidate.” — Frank Mckinney “Kin” Hubbard

I remain just one thing, and one thing only — and that is a clown. It places me on a far higher plane than any politician.” – Charlie Chaplin

It can be easy to get swept up in all the hoopla surrounding the election but it is very important to remember that the citizens not the leaders pick up the trash.
