Checking my e-mail I see a message with a link. The link takes me to what I consider to be a reputable website www.wallbuilders.com . If you get the chance you should visit the site and look around. The wallbuilders organization is a oraginzation working to preserve the history of the United States of America. To read the site it is “an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built”.

“While we read history we make history.”   George William Curtis

remember today is simply tomorrows history and on that vein there was an article about the current presidents hostility towards the Christian religion. http://www.wallbuilders.com/libissuesarticles.asp?id=106938

I read the article and I couldn’t help but think of the John Lennon song Imagine. This was one of the most beautiful songs sang by John and If I recall the lyrics there is a call for no religion, no countries just people living together as one.

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace

You, you may say
I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

You, you may say
I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

No matter what party or religion we are we should first remember that we are part of the human race and the most powerful force in the human race is love.

peace
