Too short.. as in life is too short.  Actually it goes like this “life is too short, to not go for broke.” — eminem

Love him or hate him you have to admit that he has a point.

Go for broke is a phrase meaning to wager everything. Go for Broke was the motto of the 442nd Infantry Regiment. The 442nd was awarded eight Presidential Unit Citations and twenty-one of its members were awarded the Medal of Honor for World War II.[3] The 442nd’s high distinction in the war and its record-setting decoration count earned it the nickname “Purple Heart Battalion.” The unit truly did wager all and the world owes them a debt of gratitude.  It is no secret that I truly believe the men and women from WWI and WWII are some of the most amazing people on the planet. I shudder to think of what society may be like now if these men and women did not “go for broke”.

We all have a limited time here on earth. I think Steve Jobs said it well when he said “Life is brief, and then you die, you know?” I am sorry as I am typing this I am realizing how dark this sounds. This was not my intention what I wanted to do was let everyone know that if you want to do something you should do it. If for no other reason than the simple fact that life is short and it is way to short to spend any time lamenting over what we may think could have been. If only I would have taken that new job, asked out the prom queen. Don’t do that. Go for broke. You have a short life that is the way it is. Some of us take chances and get lucky and that is great if this is the case enjoy what you have press on and keep taking chances.

If this is not the case make sure you take chances and keep going for broke.
