What is your process?

“Well what if you did this that way or this way?” Those words are asked a lot in the modern office. I had, and still do have, a lot of work to get done this week (yeah I know tomorrow I should finally be sticking a fork in this project.) and I was of course given some advice for how to do this. I responded with a thanks and went on doing the work the way I was doing it. What was suggested may have saved some time but  it did not have all the checks I like to have in place when I am doing research. I am sorry if I bored you with shop talk but later on in the day I considered my silence and realized I should have let my office mate know that this was simply my process.

A process is a series of actions, changes or functions that bring about results and we all have our own processes for.. well everything.  We all have different processes with unique nuances and quirks associated with them and surprisingly despite how different these are we all reach the same finish line. Some get there more quickly than others but we all get there. Isn’t it cool that this happens.

I love the uniqueness and juxtaposition that is the human experiences! When I was kid my mom bought be a button with Alf on in it.  I think it said something like you are out of this world on it. Hey I loved ALf and my mom said something about how important it was to be different and yourself and I may have suffered a little with self image while in highschool (but hey who doesn’t) but I really was always myself.

so what is your process
