I know but see….

I wrote a blog post yesterday, (crazy right, but i post like everyday, well almost everyday) in which I mentioned a new engine being tested by NASA. The engine would be a propellant free engine and enable deep space travel. Now I mentioned in the post that I may have jumped the shark and I just finished watching a very interesting video about the tests and the suspicions that the engine tests were not conducted properly.

This is not certain and the video went on to say that it is impossible for this device to work because of the law of conservation. Now I agree and on a very high level understand how conservation works, but I wonder on a quantum level if this engine could does and or will work.

I really don’t know. I am not an physicist, but I do know that when someone says something is impossible someone somewhere always seems to find a way.

Today nearly all of the energy consumed by the nation of France is generated through nuclear power.  The nuclear power process is clean and safe for the environment and in the long run less expensive than almost any other process for energy production on a national scale.

A man who understood physics made a bold statement about nuclear power.

“There is not the slightest indication that nuclear energy will ever be obtainable. It would mean that the atom would have to be shattered at will.”

-Albert Einstein, 1932.

So while we watch and see and listen to the skeptics I hope we all remember history.
