There is a book called “Elephant Company” by Vicki Croke. The book outlines the Adventures in World War 2 of the Elephant Company. Yeah a company of elephants fought the axis in World War 2. The elephants build bridges, moved supplies and helped the allies defeat the Axis in the jungles of Burma. The book “Elephant Company” goes into detail how The leader two leaders of elephant company,  a human named Bill Willams and an elephant named Bandoola lead the company of people and elephants up a cliff face to escape the savage Japanese.

Bill and Bandoola faced certain death at the hand of the savages and certain death scalling a limestone cliff face. The humans cut steps for the elephants and all climbed out!

There are many times when we face impossible odds and certain defeat. My words of encouragement are simple. Move forward always!!

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Walt Disney

I am convinced that life has to keep going. I really think we do the most damage when we allow despair to make us get stuck and allow ourselves to be trapped.

If elephants can climb a cliff face you can do whatever it is you need to do and what we all need to do is keep moving forward.
