Act like an adult!

Ok, get the soapbox out because, I have something to say. Roy Moore in Alabama, act like an adult. You are the Chief Justice for the Alabama Supreme Court. That means that you are the boss of the state judges av like a good employee and follow your bosses orders.
I am sorry, let me explain. See the Supreme Court decided that Alabama’s ban on same sex marriage was unconstitutional. The Supreme Court went further and ordered probate judges to issue licenses to couples no matter what their sexual orientation is. Now in a childish petulant and bigoted act judge Roy Moore ordered his judges to stop. I don’t know about you but I find this act egregious and immoral and childish. The judge goes even further to make himself look like a kid when he said: “This power over marriage, which came from God under our organic law, is not to be redefined by the United States Supreme Court or any federal court”
This mans actions if not criminal are definitely not godly. Let me rephrase his actions are not those of a God I would serve. I want my god to respect human rights and act as an adult and not be a petulant child who will not accept others because of his or her hang ups about something like sex.
I don’t think judges should act as religious leaders, they should be pluralists and accept that a nation is formed by the magnificent people who inhabit it and some of those people are homosexuals. Homosexuals are no better or worse because they are homosexual. Homosexuals deserve the same rights of the heterosexuals no matter what one judges god thinks.
An adult understands that the world is big and made up of all kinds of people and that everyone deserves basic human rights. An adult also understands that, through the denial of basic human rights you are doing harm.

“If you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them.”

Dalai Lama

Today you will interact with many different people. Please be more of an adult than Moore us and show everyone some respect.
