Happy birthday Dr S

March 2nd was the birthday of the incredible Dr. Seuss. Born Theodor Seuss Geisel, he took on the moniker dr. Seuss and gave to the world a catalog of children’s books read at bedtimes all over the world. The books are full of lovely stories that are presented in an unmatched prose that made my daughter Hannah smile and laugh every time I read her “Fox in Socks”.

To celebrate and remember Dr. Seuss the NEA has founded the Read Across America Day and some schools have celebrated Dr. Seuss week.

This morning my girlfriend borrowed my copy of the book ” Holy Cow” she is going to read it. What better way is there to remember Dr. Seuss than through reading and maybe keeping a big sense of humor about ourselves?
