Eight on the eighth

nine years ago today my oldest son Kyle, told me he was going to turn eight on The eighth. Kyle smiled, I laughed and told him happy birthday. Kyle is my oldest son, he is the first born. I have had the chance to watch him grow up for the last 17 years. He has always excelled in school. Before three years ago Kyle’s good grades in school were almost like a sense of pride. I was proud of my son and maybe selfishly A little proud of myself for having a son with such high grades. When Kyle was born I was 20 years old. I don’t know about you but for me that’s a young father and like all other young or old I was learning this whole father good thing as I went along. The one thing I learned was this, Kyle made his good grades on his own. Because Kyle did this on his own he should be proud of his grades not me. What I am most happy about,is that Keio a healthy and happy. I want to take this time right now to wish him a happy 17th birthday and tell him that everything he and his siblings do make me proud of them. Kyle has grown a lot in the past 17 years and I’d like to think that I have too. I I think I am grown and learned in the past 17 years about family love and life. Not only is a wish for a happy birthday and owner but, also a big thank you to Kyle, thank you Kyle for being such a wonderful son and putting up with an ever learning dad.
