It’s messy and will be even more messy….

Yesterday, The United States of America voted in the general election. The voter turn out nation wide was 55.6 %. This turnout was, about lower than 2012 turn out. This years turnout was actually among the lowest (by a fraction) in the last 15 years.

There are many excuses for not coming out to vote. One of the biggest excuses I heard this cycle was the “it’s far too messy” excuse. I do not like any candidate and do not support any changes to my states constitution so I will not vote excuse is a strange one.

Life is messy, there are many people ideas and harmony does not happen on accident. Harmony is not a result of staying home and not voting. Democracy works when we make it work and citizens make it work through voting. That’s really the secret to life is nt it kinetic action.

You may not have voted but there is still time to get active and do good. It will be rough and messy but man it and you will make a difference.
